Inside, a white card insert holds the cake: a square base insert sits at the bottom, and a second insert with a large circular cutout — with two small semi-circular notches on opposite sides for lifting the cake out — holds it centred.
The decoration is printed edge-to-edge as a continuous band design. A wide pink band wraps the box sides, and the white areas above it carry a row of hand-drawn birthday candles in alternating pastel colours, each with a wick and a small flame.
